INT. JIANGSU SCI-TECH UNIVERSITY - RESEARCH LAB
Our protagonist PROFESSOR ZHAO (40s), a brilliant but quirky researcher, is pacing back and forth in his lab. His team is busy running experiments behind him.
PROFESSOR ZHAO: (muttering to himself) Come on, come on. Just a few more calculations and well have it.
Suddenly, the computer screen flashes green and a message pops up.
PROFESSOR ZHAO: (excitedly) Yes! The algorithm is complete! This could change everything!
LATER THAT DAY - PRESS CONFERENCE
Reporters crowd around the podium, waiting for Professor Zhao to begin.
PROFESSOR ZHAO: (clearing throat) Ladies and gentlemen, Im excited to share with you a breakthrough in medical technology. Our team has developed an artificial intelligence algorithm that can assist doctors in diagnosing and treating diseases with unprecedented accuracy.
REPORTER 1: Can you give us an example of how this technology works?
PROFESSOR ZHAO: Of course. Lets say a patient comes in with a suspicious lump. Our algorithm can analyze hundreds of thousands of medical images to accurately diagnose the condition and create a treatment plan in seconds.
REPORTER 2: That sounds incredible. But what about privacy concerns?
PROFESSOR ZHAO: Were fully aware of the privacy and ethical concerns around AI technology in healthcare. Thats why weve developed strict protocols to protect patient data and ensure ethical use of the technology.
REPORTER 3: And what about commercial applications? Will this technology be available to everyone?
PROFESSOR ZHAO: Weve already received a great deal of interest from hospitals and healthcare providers around the world. Our aim is to make this technology widely available, but well obviously need to ensure that it meets regulatory standards and is affordable for all.
The reporters continue to barrage Professor Zhao with questions, while his team cheers in the background.
PROFESSOR ZHAO: (smiling to himself) Who knew that a little bit of code could change the world?
